Terms of Service

Effective 17 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Murandasi, owned and operated by NIYONKURU Olivier, Kigali, Rwanda ("Murandasi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) and legally able to enter into a contract to use Murandasi.

2. Your account

  • Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or infringing content.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Send spam, run automated scraping, or abuse rate limits.
  • Interfere with security, reverse-engineer the Service, or introduce malware.
  • Sell or promote goods and services that are prohibited by Rwandan law.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User content

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant Murandasi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, adapt (for formatting/thumbnails) and display your content solely to operate and promote the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup retention.

5. Paid features

  • Verification, premium plans, and boosted posts are paid features. Prices are shown in Rwandan francs (RWF) inside the app.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Boost campaigns run for the duration and budget you select and stop automatically when exhausted.

6. Third-party services

Sign-in providers (Google, Apple) and payment processors have their own terms. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Overview. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service or other users.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that content posted by users is accurate, safe, or lawful.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Murandasi and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD 100.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kigali, Rwanda.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
