Data & Account Deletion

Murandasi is owned and operated by NIYONKURU Olivier in Kigali, Rwanda. You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how.

1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Sign in to Murandasi on the web or mobile app.
Go to Account → Overview.
Scroll to Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is final. We do not suspend, ban, or archive — your account is permanently removed.

2. Delete by email

If you can't sign in, email NIYONKURU Olivier from the address on your account:

Subject: Account deletion request
Body: your username, registered email, and a short confirmation that you want your account and data permanently deleted.

We verify the request comes from the registered email, then delete within 7 business days.

3. What is deleted

Profile (name, avatar, bio, phone, location, links).
All your posts, photos, listings, comments, likes, and shares.
All your messages, voice notes, shared locations, and system inbox items.
Followers, following, saved items, boosts, and cart.
Push notification tokens and notification history.
Authentication records (email, password hash, OAuth links).

4. What we may retain

We keep only what the law requires: invoices, payment records, tax documents, and abuse / fraud investigation records. These are stored securely, isolated from the live product, and not used for any other purpose.

5. Third-party copies

Public content you shared may have been copied by other users or search engines before deletion. We can only remove data from Murandasi's own systems.
